Complex feeding challenges in Paediatrics: Autism, ARFID, PFD & beyond. What Health Professionals need to know

€85.00

30th April 2025: 09.30-12.30pm (Online)

Feeding challenges in infants and children, such as Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and Paediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) are becoming increasingly prevalent and complex in presentation. When working with a child & parents with these needs, there are many aspects to consider and treat, including medical, psychological, sensory, nutritonal and so on. The increasing numbers of children with Autism/Neurodivergence and complex feeding difficulties is also of great concern for health professionals. It is vital that professionals are aware of the latest evidence and best practice in this space, as well as what not to do when treating these children.

Join this specialist 3-hour online CPD event, designed for allied health professionals and medics (Paediatricians/GPs etc), to gain cutting-edge knowledge and clinical insights into Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD). Learn how to differentiate between these conditions, assess feeding difficulties holistically, when and where to refer onwards, and the different approaches involved to achieve real progress for children and families.

Through expert-led teaching, case studies, and practical application, you will leave with clear, actionable strategies to enhance your clinical practice immediately.

Resource pack & CPD certificate sent to all attendees afterwards.
